BATON ROUGE, La. – In an effort to bring a strong, diverse group of local leaders to the planning phase of the new East Baton Rouge Parish administration, Mayor-President-Elect Sid Edwards continues to add to his Win EBR Transition Team.
“We are excited to continue to build upon our strong start,” Edwards said. “I have continued to reach out to key stakeholders and leaders who are encouraged by our promise for change, and they are agreeing to be a part of this important process.”
“Today’s announcement is just ‘part two’ of our roll out,” Edwards added. “We anticipate having around 100 team members in the coming days.”
Win EBR Transition Team Chairman Rick Edmonds echoed the sentiment.
“If we are going to see real change and real progress in our great city, we need lots of people in all communities and across all demographics to help us do that,” Edmonds said. “I’m excited about the energy we are seeing across our parish, and I’m looking forward to working with these leaders who care about our city-parish government.”
